Forgiveness

 Scripture: Matthew 6:14-15
14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Life Application: One of the things we don't realize about forgiveness is that it's NOT for the other person, but it's for ourselves. We  try not to"hold grudges" but in actuality, grudges hold us.

Today, I made a conscious decision to forgive any & everyone whose ever lied on me, cheated on me, talked about me, mistreated me, used me and abused me. I realize that those who DO NOT truly and freely forgive are not truly free. And everytime they say they're okay, it's a lie.

When something tragic happens we usually turn a blind eye and attempt to move on with no resolution. Many of us are so afraid of  what others may say, believe or feel about our conditions & current situations that we fail to consult & or confide in anyone whether professional or
personal.This isVERY  unhealthy!

My prayer is that we learn the true meaning of forgiveness. This starts with our willingness to be transparent. BE FREE !

Prayer: Most gracious and Heavenly Father, I repent for a heart of unforgiveness. It is the ugliest thing in the world to keep in our hearts. I'm sorry for not extending grace and mercy where it was needed. I also repent for not exercising wisdom by not stealing away from bad company and being in the midst of those who didn't really want to seek you but wanted to damage me. I repent for not speaking, teaching or paving Your truth when it was needed. Father I apologize and all for a heart of forgiveness yoked by wisdom and following Your Holy Spirit. In the matchless name of Yeshua our soon coming King, amen.
